C&C needs the vehicle, engine, intended use, and readable transmission identification before confirming the family.
Will an 8HP work with my engine and vehicle?
Possibly, but compatibility depends on the exact transmission, bellhousing or adapter, controller, converter, output, mounts, driveshaft, cooling, and calibration.
How much power can a built 8HP handle?
Horsepower alone does not settle it. Torque delivery, vehicle weight, tires, launches, controls, cooling and condition all matter. Ask C&C about the exact build.
Which controller or electronics do I need?
That depends on the transmission generation, engine management, shifter, vehicle electronics, and features you need. Include every controller or harness you already own.
Do I need an adapter or a different converter?
Many swaps do. C&C must confirm the engine, transmission, adapter, flexplate, starter, converter, and spacing as one combination.
What is included in a build?
Only the parts and services listed on the written quote are included. Do not assume the controller, adapter, converter, cooler, fluid, core, tuning, or freight is included unless it is listed.
What should I send first?
Tell us which transmission you need and how you use the car. If you have a unit, email its tag photo. The advanced form is there for swaps and longer parts lists.
Can I ship my transmission to C&C?
Contact C&C first. Ship only after the shop confirms the job and gives you receiving and core instructions.
How long will the build take?
Current turnaround is not published. Ask for the timing on your written quote because parts availability and transmission condition can change it.
What warranty applies?
The warranty supplied with the written quote controls. Read it before authorizing work and make sure the quoted use matches the car's actual use.
